Imaging
The clinical imaging research program supports and conducts research that advances biomedical imaging technology, generates new knowledge and improves human health.
Imaging Research
Since the turn of the twentieth century, advances in the basic science, technology and applications of biomedical imaging have transformed both biomedical science and patient care. Our translational and clinical researchers use biomedical imaging to pose complex and novel questions about the typical and pathological function of the human body, and virtually every medical specialty benefits from continued advances in the ability of biomedical imaging to non-invasively characterize the structure and function of the human body. We aim to be at the forefront of these advances.
Bringing together expertise in imaging science, clinical radiology and other medical specialties, we:
- Develop and apply advanced imaging methods in basic, translational and clinical research.
- Inspire, educate and mentor future generations of scientists.
- Support our organization, local communities, professional communities and society at-large through service.
- Support Carleās clinical mission and act to the benefit of patients and patient families.
