Grants Administration
The Grants Administration Office submits proposals on behalf of Carle Health as its authorized institutional official and collaborates with other institutions to establish subawards or other partnership agreements. Our team handles proposal application submission, letters of institutional approval and grant-related invoicing and payments.
Security Funding for Research
Externally sponsored research grants from various federal, state and private agencies provide a steady funding source for Carle Health. The grants team administers proposals and awards by monitoring budgets, account balances and expenditures of externally sponsored research projects.
Sponsored awards are subject to audit to ensure compliance with internal and external policies (including federal OMB 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance) and the terms and conditions of the agreement. Along with the principal investigator, we also assist the organization’s accounting and compliance units during required audits, including the annual federal Single A-133 Audit, in accordance with all internal and external policies and the terms and conditions of the award.
